Compactor of capacity from 16 to 24 m3
L-PTO type mobile compactor is dedicated to compacting the volume of cardboard materials, foil, PET bottles under the selective waste collection system. It is used on a collection vehicle with the crane system for bell or basket type containers with openable floor. The hydraulics and 24 [V] power supply from the hook type collection vehicle are used to power the compactor. L-PTO type compactor is a highly efficient machine which can excellently replace standard open containers in relation to selective waste collection from the area of a city of a municipality. The compactor of 16 m3 capacity can collect locally approx. 1600 kg of PET bottles during a single daily run. This is 10-times volume compacting ratio. Another advantage of this design concerns the enclosed transport of raw material without the need to use a protection in form of nets or tarpaulin. The compactor's loading hopper is designed in a manner enabling easy loading of even the biggest bell-type containers.
