The stationary compactors due to the dimensions of the pressing throat and high operating speed of the pressure plate are used in reloading stations (transfer stations). The materials of increased durability used to manufacture these compactors allow to use them to compact all types of municipal waste loaded into the compactor's chamber directly from traditional garbage trucks or open containers. The systems of this type enable full utilisation of garbage trucks in the area of a city or municipality without the need to drive to a distant waste storage site. The effectiveness of the system can be increased by transport of the containers filled by stationary compactors as part of a set with a trailer to the waste storage site or RIPOK (Regional Municipal Waste Treatment Installation) installation.
