Description and use
[DB - two compacting chambers]
[SO2 - walls with opening function]
Collection vehicle of type: “Big hook” according to EN DIN 30722 and other European standards.
Compactor of capacity 16 to 24 m3
The construction of L-DB SO2 device is based on the “separation at source” principle. Zentex is the forerunner in the field of this type of structures. Two independent compacting chambers make it possible to use one device to compact two different kinds of raw material or dry waste in one place. Such a solution allows for reduction of the costs because there is no need to buy two devices, and saves the space that would be needed for another one. Independent rear discharge doors allow for emptying the compactor in two different places, each dedicated for a given waste. Due to the pressing chambers being smaller than in the single-chamber construction, Zentex equipped the device with walls with opening function, located on both sides, in order to facilitate unimpeded discharge from the chambers. The function of opening allows for the relief of forces accumulated during the compaction and, in case of any problems, makes it possible to discharge the load using a forklift.
L-DB SO2 type mobile compactor is dedicated to compensate the volume of carton, foil, and dry municipal waste. A very strong structure guarantees long period of using the device without the need to perform general overhauls. This compactor is dedicated to reduce the volume of waste and materials of small dimensions. Thanks to relatively short travel of the pressing plate it is very efficient in terms of the speed of compaction of waste and materials. L-DB SO2 compactors can be divided into chambers in the following proportions: 50/50%, 60%/40% or 70%/30%. It can also be connected with an object with the use of a stationary hopper.
